New Gaslight Anthem Track

Rollingstone magazine managed to catch up with the guys from The Gaslight Anthem to chat about their new album and feature an exclusive streaming of their first single “45”

The song shows a return to their grassroots punky sound associated with their breakthrough album The ’59 Sound. Frontman Brian Fallon had this to say about the new song and the bands musical direction:

“This song felt to us like we still had something to say in this long line of rock & roll tradition,” says Fallon. “It made the path clear as to what we should do next. Sometimes you just have to leave things behind . . . turn the record over.”

“45” will be out on iTunes May 8th, with Handwritten set for a July 24th release.
