Sandler joins Farrell in new comedy

Adam Sandler is currently in talks to co-star alongside Will Ferrell in Three Mississippi, a new Warner Bros. comedy from 30 Rock executive producer Robert Carlock and Friends executive producer Scott Silveri.

Vulture reports that Sandler wouldn’t just being added to the film but actually replacing Mark Wahlberg in the story about two rival families who share an annual tackle football game every Thanksgiving — and one family (Wahlberg’s) is always the inevitable loser.
