RIM have lost a massive amount of market share to its IOS and Android rivals, which can be attributed to RIM’s lack of innovation. Take a look at Android and IOS and how much they have advanced over the last four or even three years. Brining new features and layouts with every update as well as hundreds of thousands of apps on their respective markets has left RIM in the dust. Blackberry’s have always kept the same consistent look and functionality which is growing old to the current generation of users.

If you cant beat em’ join em’. This is one of the new blackberry’s that will be running on RIM’s new QNX-based operating system which will be fully android compatible. You will be able to go to the android market and download any android app and game just as if it is the latest ice-cream-sandwich. Blackberry have called it their BBX operating system.

The P’9981 is said to be thinner than an Iphone 4, have a 1.5 dual-core Ti OMAP processor, 1 GB of ram, 16 Gigs of on-board memory, a 8-megapixel shooter and a 2-megapixel front facing. The picture is still a concept and should be taken with a spoon of salt. Its looking to have a June 2012 release date.
