Trevor Noah To Join The Daily Show With Jon Stewart
SA comedian, Trevor Noah, gets a spot on the award-winning political comedy show.
Love him or hate him, South African comedian Trevor Noah will be joining The Daily Show as a correspondent on the popular political satire programme.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Noah will also be joined by another comedian Hasan Minhaj, who will begin in November, will Noah will join in December.
Noah, a finalist for Personality of the Year at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards and the cover star of the current South African GQ, has hosted numerous shows, including the South African Comedy Festival and two seasons of his own late-night talker. Noah, boasting 1.6 million Twitter followers, made his U.S. TV debut performing on NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and has also appeared on CBS’ Late Show With David Letterman — becoming the first South African comedian to appear on either show.
The announcement comes after The Daily Show‘s regular comedic stand-in, Michael Che, departed the show in September.

I’m keen to see how this turns out. The Trevor Noah show on MNet wasnt terrible and I recently saw him on “Live at the Apollo” and he was hilarious!
