Some tight encounters, brilliant individual performances, and dramatic moments made for an incredibly entertaining weekend of sport. But with so many great highlights, we decided to rank out top 5; so without further ado, here are our picks of the best sporting moments from the past weekend:

Portugal’s clincher

Substitute Eder scored the winning goal in extra-time as Portugal stunned France to win Euro 2016.

The Highlanders’ brilliant offloading

The defending Super Rugby champions showcased their sublime handling skills with an excellent try against the Jaguares that saw forwards and backs combine with some spectacular offloads.

The Blues’ superb lineout move

They knew they wouldn’t out-drive the Brumbies’ excellent pack. But the Auckland Blues didn’t need to. Instead, they pulled this awesome lineout move to trick the Brumbies all ends up.

Andy Murray’s Wimbledon win

Scotsman Andy Murray was able to add another Gran Slam win to his name with a victory over Milos Raonic in the Wimbledon men’s final.

KO’d player sent to the sin bin

There were strange scenes in Perth when Stormers centre Daniel du Plessis was knocked out challenging a kick, but was still given a yellow card.
