The Souths superstar lived up to his billing as the best player in the NRL when he reached deep into his bag of tricks to set up a four-pointer for Rabbitohs teammate Alex Johnston, early in their blockbuster clash with the Roosters at ANZ Stadium.

Fielding a kick from Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce in his own in-goal area one-handed, Inglis first stepped and then barged his way out of trouble before finding an unmarked Johnston on the left wing.

The Rabbitohs flyer did the rest, racing the length of the field to score a try that will take some beating for best of 2015.
