3 Amazing Weekend Tries from South African Sides

The URC continued this past weekend as the competition headed into Round 14. Unfortunately, except for the Lions, the South African sides didn’t bode too well but there were some fantastic tries scored across the board. Here are our picks from the weekend:

Sharks vs Glasgow – Despite losing the game, winger Apiwe Dyanti pulled off an acrobatic offload to put Sharks prop Ntuthuko Mchunu into some space down the wing to score.

Stormers vs Ospreys – The Stormers also fell to their Welsh opposition this past weekend, but new recruit Wandisile Simelane made a great break and offload to Springbok flyhalf Manie Libbok who ran a great looping move before putting Evan Roos through for a great try.

Lions vs Leinster – The Lions were the standouts of the URC weekend for the South African sides, and scored a brilliant try against Leinster with some sublime interplay between backs and forwards.
