Fekitoa Sidesteps Rokocoko to Score Brilliant Try for Toulon [Video]
The All Black grabs his first French Top 14 try!
Malakai Fekitoa is a world-class centre, unfortunately for him, the depth of inside and outside backs in New Zealand forced him to look abroad for his rugby career. That said, it doesn’t look like things are going too bad in Toulon.
The former Highlanders star an appearance outside of Ma’a Nonu against Racing Metro, and nabbed his first try for the club too.
Fekitoa got an awkward pass with a defender right on him, but used his footwork to get on the inside, before accelerating and stepping again inside of former All Black Joe Rokocoko.
Despite the great try and brilliant Toulon line-up, the star-studded side still went down 40-29.
