Welkom’s defence delivers a tackle for the ages.
We’ve seen some massive (and interesting) tackles in our time, but never have we seen an attacking player driven back over 20 metres.
In the U19B schoolboy clash between Welkom Gym and Goudveld Hoërskool, a counterattack from Goudveld saw the scrumhalf come up against the fierce Welkom defence, and was picked up during a tackle and carried all the way back into his own half.
