WATCH: Damian De Allende Carves Up Leinster with Sidestepping Run
Is De Allende the man to don the No. 12 jersey against the B&I Lions?
Should World Cup winner Damian de Allende be the man to start in the centre against the British and Irish Lions this year? That is the question many are asking given the former Stormers back’s great form for Munster since joining the Irish side last season.
De Allende has been one of Munster’s main attacking threats, and the 29-year-old showcased his skill once more with a brilliant game against Leinster this past weekend.
After receiving the ball from a turnover, De Allende used his footwork and strong fend to get through the Leinster defence, before bamboozling the covering defenders and giving a pass away to teammate and Irish international Connor Murray to score.
