WATCH: Monster Tackle Ends Rugby League Game
Tapine floors Walsh on the buzzer to wrap up the Broncos vs. Raiders game.
Brisbane Broncos’ Reese Walsh was rocked by a huge tackle in the final moment of the NRL match between his side and the Canberra Raiders, which sparked a bit of a scuffle.
In rugby league, after the siren has sounded at the 80-minute mark, the ball must go dead, usually by a tackle which is done obligatorily as possession is guaranteed and the ball can’t get stolen. However, Canberra’s Joseph Tapine decided to put in one last legal (but unnecessary) shot on Walsh, flooring him and initiating a fight.
