WATCH: Sharks Score the Most Bizarre Try of the Year

The Sharks are, unfortunately, not having the best season thus far in the 2023/2024 URC competition, having lost 5 out of 5 games. However, the men from Durban can claim that they have scored the weirdest try of the season against Connacht.

After receiving a pass behind him, Springbok outside centre Lukhanyo Am put in a poor sideways kick that clearly didn’t go where he intended, before Apelele Fassi gave it a punt that deflected off a defender and resulted in the ball popping into winger Werner Kok’s hands.
