Springbok fullback Willie le Roux is becoming a more and more important cog in the Toyota Verblitz line-up, making a huge impact with his side Toyota Verblitz in the top league in Japan.
Le Roux’s playmaking ability is crucial to the side’s style, and while he often fills in at the flyhalf channel coming up from fullback, the Japanese side gave him the number 10 jersey for their match against Green Rockets Tokatsu.
The 33-year-old isn’t unfamiliar with the flyhalf role, as he has played there for the Griquas and Cheetahs earlier in his career.
