WATCH: Willie le Roux’s Brilliant Catch and Try for the Springboks Against Tonga
Le Roux dots down for South Africa’s sixth try of the night against Tonga.
The Springboks delivered a compelling 49-18 win over Tonga in their fourth and final pool game of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, scoring seven tries to Tonga’s three.
One of which came from Willie le Roux, who found himself out on the wing during a Springbok counter-attack in the Tongan 22-metre area.
After some quick passing, Le Roux was able to reel the ball in from a Canan Moodie pass which drifted a bit behind the fullback, before Le Roux went for the corner, stepped inside the Tongan defence, and dotted down.
