Sam Burgess’ Classic Response Following Broken Cheekbone [Video]

During the 2014 NRL Grand Final which took place over the weekend, Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess suffered a broken cheekbone in the opening moment of the match when he collided with Bulldogs prop James Graham.

Brugess continued to play, but when coming off at half-time, he was asked how his cheek is, responding with:

“It’s f*****, it’s gone”.

Tough-as-nails Burgess will now leave rugby league after deciding to join rugby union club Bath with hopes of playing for England in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
