Some tight encounters, brilliant individual performances, and dramatic moments made for an incredibly entertaining weekend of sport. But with so many great highlights, we decided to rank out top 5; so without further ado, here are our picks of the best sporting moments from the past weekend:

England’s sublime backline move

England managed to secure a 37-21 win over the Springboks in Twickenham, and one of the standout tries was the brilliant set-piece move which saw winger Jonny May dot down in the corner.

Kuridrani’s killer blow

After a tight final period of the Test between Scotland and Australia at Murrayfield, Wallaby centre Tevita Kuridrani went solo to seal it for the Aussies in the dying moments of the game.

Forsberg’s flyer

Emil Forsberg pulled off a stellar freekick as Sweden took a 1-0 lead after 54 minutes against France in a World Cup qualifier. Unfortunately for the Scandinavians it wasn’t enough as Dimitri Payet and Paul Pogba scored in the hosts comeback win.

Jones’ jet shoes

Despite the closer 22-23 loss, Scotland and Stormers centre Huw Jones scored one of the best tries of the game, when he barged onto a deft kick behind the Wallabies line to open the scoring at Murrayfield.

Scotland’s team-effort

Scotland’s rugby league side recorded a historic draw with New Zealand in the Four Nations tournament, and Scotland’s Ben Hellewell finished off one of the incredible tries of the night.
