Watch SBW Dominate An Out-Of-Shape Boxer In The Ring [Video]
Check out Sonny Bill Williams putting the hurt on the one-time “fifth best boxer in the world”, according to the WBC.

All Black centre Sonny Bill Williams took to the ring this past weekend for his seventh professional fight against another heavyweight boxer who wasn’t exactly up to scratch with the code-hopping star.
Chauncy Welliver, who has sparred with the likes of Wladimir Klitchscko, Mike Tyson and David Tua in a 14-year professional career, was no match for Williams in the rugby superstar’s return to the ring for the first time since surviving a 10 round bout with Francois Botha in Brisbane two years ago.
After 70 previous professional bouts without ever being knocked out, the 135kg American obviously felt that he could not be stopped, but Williams had the edge since the first round.
Whether Williams is getting better, or just fighting lesser opponents is debatable, but either way there were some great hits during the fight.

This is an absolute joke. To say that SBW was fighting a lesser opponent is an understatement. If people argue That Whelliver has experience they are just SBW fans. What he has is a spare tire around his waste. SBW looks like he’s fighting a string out Michellin Man.
If SBW is doing boxing for rugby training then he should do non-publicized/non-televised fights. If he is doing this to prove he can “box” then he should fight athletes around the same age/size/experience. Not these has-been boxers. It seems like he does it to stroke his ego and build hype around himself.
