WATCH: The Greatest Try Never Scored?

The Parramatta Eels’ winger Blake Ferguson scored arguably the best try of the NRL rugby league season against the West Tigers, but it wasn’t to be with the try being disallowed for an earlier knock-on. But, we can’t fault the effort.

After picking up a loose ball on the right wing, Ferguson dashed for the corner to score, but with so little space to make it, the 30-year-old decided to go aerial and somehow managed to dot the ball down despite the efforts from the Tigers’ defence.
