5 Magic Weekend Sports Moments You May Have Missed

All Blacks’ clinical try

New Zealand strung together a brilliant team try against France in Paris, utilising a Beauden Barrett cross-kick which Julian Savea picked off, before passing inside to Israel Dagg.

Serin’s sneaky pass

French replacement scrumhalf Baptiste Serin delivered a sublime inside flick-pass to Louis Picamoles for France’s first try against the All Blacks in Paris.

Zlatan’s equaliser

After trailing 1-0 to West Ham United, Manchester United got back on level terms thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who found a brilliant ball by Paul Pogba deep inside the box.

Tonga’s triumph

Sonatane Takulua slotted an 81st minute penalty to clinch a dramatic 19-17 win for Tongaover Italy in Padova on Saturday.

Waterman’s solo effort

England Women’s fullback Danielle Waterman scored one of the best tries of the weekend when she cut through Canada and used her footwork and pace to finish off the opportunity.
