James OConnor try vs Lions

While the Lions managed to rack up a significant amount of points in their 41-16 series clincher over the Wallabies, the Australians did look to be in the game just before half-time.

Moments before heading into the change rooms, the Wallabies were gifted an attacking 5m scrum with hopes of executing some miracle to put them back into the game.

While he was critisiced for his overall performance, James O’Connor managed to draw in defenders and used his quick footwork to get on the inside of Jonathan Sexton to cross the tryline.

In related news, the Melbourne Rebels have confirmed that they will not be offering the 22-year old a further contract beyond the 2013 season, raising speculation of where O’Connor’s future lies.
