Julian Savea’s skill against the Waratahs
Savea delivers another breath-taking performance against the Waratahs
During Round 8 of the 2013 Super Rugby tournament, the Hurricanes delivered a convincing performance against the Waratahs, and, as expected, one of the standout players was All Black winger Julian Savea.
Savea scored two tries on the night, which contributed to the Hurricanes’ 41-29 win over the New South Wales side.
Savea’s first try showed some great skill from his younger brother Ardie, along with Goods and captain Conrad Smith, who put together some great passing to give Savea space to race away.
His second showed great determination, as Savea chased a TJ Perenara box kick and gathered an awkward bouncing ball while beating three defenders to stride away under the posts.
