Stormers’ fantastic try against the Reds
The Stormers execute a perfect play to put Jean de Villiers over the tryline.
The Reds and Stormers clash over the weekend was one of the highlights of Round 15, and the Cape Town side found some pride in the only try scored throughout the 20-15 encounter.
Early in the second half, the Stormers used an attacking scrum in their own half to their advantage, executing a brilliantly placed cross-kick from Elton Jantjies, which Habana palmed down to Joe Pietersen.
Pietersen then linked up with captain Jean de Villiers excellently to give their team a much needed 5-pointer – which also ended up being the difference between the two teams.
