Terrible rugby injury for Grey High player

A Grey High player unfortunately endured a bad leg-break while playing against Grey College in Bloemfontein.

Martin Groenewald was the unfortunate player, who’s leg broke in two places – his tibia and fibula.

Groenewald was taken to Bloemfontein Mediclinic and underwent an emergency surgery.

“Martin’s operation was a success,” said Grey High via its Twitter account, which also revealed that Groenewald was discharged from hospital on Monday.

Injuries such as this are unfortunate, and Rugby Informer wishes Martin Groenewald a speedy recovery.
