The Blues Harlem Shake

It seems as if every rugby team is getting in on the Harlem Shake action, and it’s no doubt that the Auckland Blues will have their go at the viral meme phenomenon.

The concept of the Harlem Shake meme includes a video of people going about their usual activities, with one person (usually masked or helmeted) dancing. After the bass and beat kicks in, the video is cut and everybody in the scene is dancing in a strange or over-the-top manner.

The Blues’ rendition features just about every member of the Blues squad, as they go crazy in the team gym.

Look out for the Blues mascot, Bluebeard the Pirate, as well as Rene Ranger showing his moves in the background.

The Crusaders have also put their own Harlem Shake video together.
