The power of the Fijian union side is starting to show the quality and flair that has been showcased by the Fijian Sevens team in recent years, and their match against the Cook Islands showed the attacking firepower that they have.
While not really a top-class opponent, the Cook Islands weren’t able to keep up with the Fijians in the Rugby World Cup qualifying match. Fiji scored through the likes of Nikola Matawalu, Asaeli Tikoirotuma, and Crusaders winger Nemani Nadolo, playing in the centre for his national side.
