F1 2012 hits Xbox 360 in September, trailer shows off Young Driver Test

Codemasters has announced F1 2012 for release in September. New features include the Young Driver Test mode – a straight pitch to F1 agnostics – and the US Grand Prix track in Austin, Texas. Old features include cars, tracks and engine noises.

Young Driver Test mode “will take players even closer to the experience of becoming an F1 driver,” thunders the press release. “Players will be introduced to the world of F1 through a range of tutorials explaining how to handle racing’s most exciting and responsive cars, and challenged to earn a drive from a team for the 2012 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.”

All the official teams, drivers and circuits from the 2012 FIA F1 World Championship are included.
